Bottled Water Dispensers - Why They Are the Best to Get

by Marcia

This website gives you tips on finding the best deals on bottled water dispensers.

Bottled water dispensers are great because they provide homes and organizations with instant hot or cold, or even room temperature water. The water temperature can be instantly achieved from push-button faucets. Several brands come with a child resistant hot water faucet, which will allow keeping children away from burning themselves with hot water.

The dispensers are usually available in two models, countertop dispensers and freestanding dispensers. Both models are very easy to use and quite large, so a large quantity of water can be stored. The removable drip trays allow for very easy cleaning.

The freestanding bottle water dispensers come in three different types: they can either be cold units, allowing dispensing of cold water only, hot and cold units for both hot and cold water, and finally one which includes hot, cold and room temperature water. Each operation is provided by using a separate faucet.

Homeowners will particularly enjoy bottled water dispensers due to the fact that they prefer owning their own, rather than renting a dispenser. For the home owners there are other 3 types of dispensers, the terra cota, stone ware and mini cooler model with hot and cold faucets. The customers will only need to buy 5 gallon bottles or if they have at home a purifier, they can fill them up at home. Of course, there are also portable or counter top models available.

Although generally very practical, the bottled water dispensers are a bit tough of maintenance. The water cooler needs to be used regularly else the water will have a less than fresh taste that we are used to have from water. Also attention must be paid during the summer months when the temperatures are a bit higher. This is wh the full bottles should be stored at a constant temperature and in a cool area. This will prevent the expansion and contraction of the bottles, which otherwise would allow various tiny particle material, including algae into the bottles. When changing the bottles, the hands must be washed prior to the job at hand, and the top and the neck of the new bottle should be properly cleaned with a sterile cloth.

A proper care for the bottled water dispenser must be followed by once a month cleaning them. The empty bottle must be removed and 1 tablespoon of bleach must be added to the water reservoir. Next sufficient cold water needs to be added from the tap to allow the bleach to fill the tubing that is between the reservoir and the tap. The bleach solution should be used for 5-10 minutes, after which several cups of fresh bottled water should be added in order to eliminate the bleach completely from the dispenser. The reservoir can additionally be cleaned with a small bruth cloth or sponge.
